About Eldorado Tile and Marble

One family.Three generations.77+ years of craft.

We've been setting tile in Metro Detroit since 1949 — long enough to have outlasted the trends, the imports, and the contractors who chase the lowest bid. Here's how that happened.

Our history

The DiGiovanni story.

1949

Jack DiGiovanni Sr. enters the trade

A young tradesman learning tile under master mechanics. Within fifteen years he'd be running his own crew.

Mid-1960s

Founding the contracting business

Jack Sr. goes out on his own — custom residential and restaurants his speciality.

1982

Second generation takes over

His sons inherit the business and expand the scope of work — anything from a backsplash to a casino floor.

Today

Three generations, 77+ years

Fifteen to twenty professional installers on staff, with the average mechanic carrying 15+ years of field experience.

How we work

Outstanding value — not the lowest cost.

We believe in delivering outstanding value—not just the lowest cost—so your project is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

There's no shortage of tile contractors who'll come in low and finish the job in a hurry. The trouble shows up two years later, when the grout cracks, the slabs lippage out, and the client has to pay someone twice. We bid honestly, we estimate honestly, and we install the way we'd want our own homes built.

When you receive an estimate from us, you can trust that it is comprehensive, accurate, and transparent. You won't face costly surprises.
